Dubai Media Office Twitter Two international championships and several beach events and competitions are set to take place in Dubai from today.
The Beach Games Festival which is starting with yoga and badminton events on October 20 at the Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim will run until November 6.
Organised by the Dubai Sports Council with the FIFA’s Beach Soccer Committee, the 11th Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup is scheduled from November 1 to 6 with eight national teams participating.
Four matches are scheduled on the first day of the Championship as follows: USA will play Japan at 4pm, UAE will take on Spain at 5:15 pm, Saudi Arabia will face Brazil at 6:45pm while Paraguay will take on Iran at 8 pm.
Meanwhile, the World Beach Volleyball Pro Tour will take place from October 22 until 30 and will see male and female players from various continents of the world play 266 matches.
