One person has been injured after a glider crashed into one of the external parking lots of Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the UAE capital.
Teams from Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence are currently responding to the incident.
Initial investigations revealed that the Cessna Caravan crashed due to a technical malfunction in the aircraft.
The pilot has been shifted to a hospital to treat minor injuries.
The authority urged the public to only obtain information from official sources.
