UAE astronauts set for role reversal on ISS mission

The UAE’s first astronaut Hazza Al Mansoori will serve as the back up for Sultan Al Neyadi, who is set to go on a six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS) next year.

It’s going to be a role reversal for the pair who worked together on a space mission two years ago when Al Neyadi served as Al Mansoori’s back up  

Salem Al Marri, Director-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, spoke to Dubai Eye 103.8’s The Agenda about the back-up training process for the long-term ISS mission.
