WAM UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has congratulated Rishi Sunak on the occasion of his election as the new Prime Minister of the UK.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has also dispatched a similar message of congratulations to Sunak.
Rishi Sunak has been officially announced as Britain’s Prime Minister after meeting King Charles at Buckingham Palace.
He will face his first test as Tory leader when he takes part in his first Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday.
The new PM announced his top team yesterday, which includes Dominic Raab as his deputy and Suella Braverman returning as home secretary.
