UAE leaders laud 50 years of ties with Egypt

The UAE is proud to celebrate five decades of friendship and cooperation with Egypt.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has said that together with his brother, Egypt leader Abdel Fattah El Sisi, they continue to strengthen and build the longstanding ties of the two nations for the long-term benefit of the people and the region.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also lauded the close relations between the Emirates and Egypt, which are based on mutual respect and cooperation.

Sheikh Mohammed added that the two countries will begin another 50 years of solid and deep-rooted relations and joint efforts under the leadership of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and President El-Sisi.

Three days of celebrations kicked off in Cairo on Wednesday to mark five decades of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Around 1,800 Emirati and Egyptian personalities, including politicians, businessmen and media professionals are attending the events.
