Distinguished teachers were honoured by Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, as part of the “UAE Codes” Day in collaboration with the Dubai Design District (D3) of Tecom group.
The event has been extended until October 31 and will be held to honour the best teachers through Teachers’ Associations.
The ceremony focused on the skills, and talents teachers and mentors had and were willing to share with the next generations of coders, trusting their role as a pillar to build generations and consolidating coding and advanced technology.
Dubai Design District organised a series of events during the UAE codes initiative by setting up equipped booths and special spaces that encourage visitors and coders to code and take assessments in coding. The booths also include the coding ambassadors, one of the National Programme for Coders, to meet coders and share experiences.
The “UAE Codes” Day focuses on enhancing the coding community and providing an effective platform for coders to exchange experiences, knowledge, and coding skills to create a digital economy based on innovation and modern technology and build their coding capabilities and AI technology.
